Michael Reghi is one of the most dynamic announcers in local sports broadcasting and was one of the all-time great ambassadors for the the Cleveland Cavaliers, providing memorable television play-by-play for the team for 12 seasons. He has covered the team through its ups and downs since he began with FSN Ohio in 1989.
In August of 2006, Michael Reghi was dismissed as television's voice of the Cavaliers, and replaced with long-time Detroit sports announcer Fred Mcleod.
This web site was created not to bash the fine broadcaster Fred Mcleod, but to celebrate the career of a man whose passion for the city of Cleveland will never be forgotten, and to do everything in our power as fans to pay tribute ... and someday bring him back.
So far, the response has been strong. Our petition is growing, we received a grateful email and voicemail from Reghi, and we are continuously emailing various sources to gain support and assistance.
The best way to make our voices heard is to sign that petition – link below!
